In Buddhism  there is a saying that a bird needs two wings to fly - wisdom and compassion.

I am passionate about freedom. Freedom to think; to feel; to communicate and freedom to believe. The freedom to find happiness in the small portion of time we have.

I am fortunate. I live in a free country. So I feel somewhat responsible to help those who are less fortunate.

Upon learning about the plight of Tibetan people and their slow, painful, systematic  evaporation into the sands of history, I felt a need to visit this ancient mystical land and experience the place for myself.

I went there to experience the wonder of the landscape and the joy of the people, and to share this experience by creating  a coffee table photography book titled child of Tibet – a lost innocence. I photographed the children; the future of Tibet.

I was overwhelmed by the joyful and calming influence of the Tibetan people. They showed a remarkable strength and courage to survive, despite years of suffering and systematic cultural cleansing by the Chinese.

Dalai Lama and me

I also had the honour - outside Tibet, in India - to meet and talk with the Dalai Lama, a day I will never forget.

I was so moved to make a difference, I fulfilled a promise to myself and the Tibetan people to produce this book, despite my substantial financial sacrifice I've had to make to afford the publishing costs.

For this First Editon, I had 2000 printed to the highest standards, and have sold nearly 700.
I am in much debt and need your help by purchasing a copy, so I can pay the banks.

Here I am fighting for an underdog like Tibet at great cost, so you can support the people of Tibet, receive a beautiful book and support me in doing so. Child of Tibet - a lost innocence, makes a great gift and supports a wonderful cause, so buy a copy for yourself and one for your friends.
