Darebin: The Labor-controlled Darebin City Council in the inner north around Martin Ferguson's Federal seat of Batman was the first to receive some attention where a question was asked on disclosure reform at a public council meeting in September. Acting mayor Gaetano Greco said they'd made the system more rigorous by involving the audit committee which has a majority of independent members. However, there was still no public disclosure.

Melbourne: the City of Melbourne will publish Councillor Expenses, the Travel Register and the non-City of Melbourne passengers register no later than 1pm on the last Friday of the month after the end of each quarter of the financial year. Councillor and Staff Travel Expenses from 01 December 2008 to 30 September 2010.
Moreland: they relented three years ago and agreed to annual web disclosure, after John Kavanagh, an independent councillor who is a DLP candidate on November 27 and the brother of DLP upper house member Peter Kavanagh, nagged his Labor comrades.

Greater Dandenong: under the councillor information section, there is the ATA (Accessibility, Transparency and Accountability) charter introduced by Mayor Yesil and adopted in 2008/09, detailing councillor attendance at council meetings, council briefing meetings as well as all costs, including equipment.

Manningham: had a lengthy debate earlier this year and, frankly, finished up with a pretty poor outcome. The officers bought the line that disclosure would lead to embarrassing media stories and reputational damage, so the only change that received majority support was to annually publish the total aggregate claim by all councillors against an overall budget.
Maroondah: they have this Councillor Expenses/Entitlements Policy which seeks to identify Councillor entitlements and expenses that may be incurred while Councillors are undertaking their duties, but there is nothing available on the site highlighting any expenses.
